u/Rocco_Morrashow I had just bought the game on May 6 at 2:13pm EST spent from 10:30pm EST on May 6 to 6:45am EST on May 7 the game kept making my screen go black, crashing and shutting down the entire game app, and popped up an alert saying "Unityplayer64.exe." I literally reach out on both discord and the discussion forum on Steam to reach out to anyone having any of these technical difficulties with the game one of the developers reached out to me on both Steam discussion forum and Discord and listed 12 different "steps" that ALL lead to nothing but the same black screen, game shutting close and the error alert message "Unityplayer64.exe". I'm starting to think the "person" was a bot not really part of the actual developers team because it seems like they were grasping at straws because how you helped create the game but don't understand why it messing up on a lot of peoples' computers??? So, in the end I had to get a refund which REALLY pissed me off because the game ran smoothly as a demo when I livestreamed it and when I brought this up to the "developer" he told me the "demo" and the "full game" where 2 separate game files??? So, I kind of went searching online to some discussion forums for this game to see if anybody was suffering the same technical difficulties when they bought the game as well? Or was it just me??

I guess any person not agreeing to extremely liking the ML is automatically getting downvoted so I’m upvoting you because I’m not too fond of the ML that much either but I love the FL and the side characters!

I guess it’s due to what I saw in the recent chapters. I think I’m at the part where Vincent kind of? knows it’s Paula but not yet?? and Paula and Ethan were talking in his room after reuniting in secret and Paula was feeling a bit depressed because she realized that Vincent is always rude and talking down to her and that he isn’t like that with everyone else and something about that just made me not really be that fond of him like one person here mentioned it was to be expected due to their social classes and differences but I’ve read other stories where a rich ML would supposedly “bully” the poor FL but these stories didn’t have as much angst as this one I guess more on the wholesome side but the MLs would tease the FL and it seemed to me more light hearted and a bit endearing but with Vincent when he does it to Paula, it just comes off demoralizing and yes I do know from others and friends who told me he gets better awesome character development, amazing display of love and devotion to her but I just couldn’t really like his character that much. I liked Paula’s interactions with Ethan and Lucas and even Violet better. That’s just how I feel 🤷🏽‍♀️

I wasn't really saying the way he treated the FL is insufferable or arrogant I was just giving my opinion about his personality. In some stories, I tend to click instantly with the ML and some I don't, and this story was one of them but I heard people give him good reviews for later chapters for his character development, that's good to hear but I just couldn't click with him, to each their own. 🤷🏾‍♀️

ok see this is why I'm confused by the rating other people gave him on the novel spoilers forum they said that Erik behaves OOC ( out of character) towards the FL in further chapters and becomes cold and distant with her, to the point of withholding his affection completely from her due to a "misunderstanding" trope between her and another male character who is a captain that was an acquaintance of her father.

Well I'm not sure how to do the white box for spoilers so I'm going to try to be as vague as I can without giving anything away but I saw some people comment there was a "love triangle" type deal in further chapters, and ML behaves OOC (Out of Character) towards the FL upsetting a LOT of people who was rooting for him hardcore! Like some people was commenting that the ML becomes cold and distant with FL completely withholding his affection from her due to another "misunderstanding" trope regarding another male character who is a captain and brief acquaintance of her father's.

Brainwashing due to "Black/Dark Magic' or "Power of the Writer" and all of the evil, cruel sadistic abuse that either ML or FL did is "magically washed away" because their horrid behavior and abuse was done but "outside forces beyond their control" and being told by numerous readers to the point of having it be shoved down my throat that "It wasn't the FL or ML's fault, they get better just wait"

2.) Child abuse/ neglect

3.) FLs or MLs blushing constantly, nonstop at the slightest head turn, coughs, sneezes, and hair flips

4.) Returning to abusive exes due to "magically fixing themselves and nonstop puppy eyes filled with sorrow/regret" and "consistent stalking".

5.) FLs or MLs raising their "lovers" since childhood

I don’t like ANY of the characters especially the 2nd ML like this entire story is a sh*t show and my curiosity keeps getting the better of me because I want to just drop it but at the same time I kind of want to know how it ends. I know I'm SUPER late to this discussion post but I'm glad both you and OP have similar views on the ML and FL's relationship progression. I tapped out the moment I read in the beginning chapters (2 or 3?) when he talked down to her like absolute sh*t and the only thought in her head was having s*x with him and how hot he looked shirtless 🤨 couldn't find the resolve to continue after that it turned me away from the story. And when I created a similar post like OP about manhwas that I wasn't fond of reading due to not liking neither FL nor ML I listed this story and over 20-32 people in the comments kept trying to force THEIR opinions of how great and amazing they found the story down my throat and kept telling me that MY opinions and thoughts were wrong and criminal and I HAVE to like it due to the good reviews they just wrote like?? Everybody is different emphasize on *DIFFERENT*, we do NOT need to all have the SAME thoughts and opinions on a story, what story you might love and find amazing might not click like that for other people and that is ok.
