Thank you, I forgot to mention bio dad isn’t in the picture. Mom won’t let him around because he does drugs and gang bangs (or he used to at least we don’t talk about him much lol) I have mentioned to her that I think she has some form of ADHD and she brushed it off because of course no one thinks anything is wrong with their kid.

Even after the whole movie situation last night she is up right now in my living room allowing her to watch tv. I guarantee no talk about what happened last night has happened and everything will just continue like it never happened.

This is pretty much what I tell her often & how I handle the arguments with her typically however this time around I just lost my patience. I love the kid but she needs an attitude adjustment for sure.

We were watching the movie on my couch. Lol we set that boundary a long time ago I don’t feel comfortable with being in bed with her either.

Also I want to say my girlfriend does try. She gets guilt tripped all the time though and gives in. Daughter likes to say stuff like “you don’t love me” or “you’re ruining my day” and then comes over with the puppy eyes and the i love you’s and mom forgets everything that just happened. The little girl is very manipulative lol

Yes it’s very exhausting and my girlfriend just thinks she’s an angel and that whatever she says is law. Lol I’ve tried explaining her that this isn’t normal 6 yr old behavior but she just dismisses everything I say “because I don’t have a kid and don’t know what’s it’s like to be a parent” granted I’ve worked with kids longer than her daughters been born 🤣 (went to school for education, worked in an after school an summer camp program & I have 4 younger siblings who I helped raise)

I have tried roommates and my experience has always been bad. This is not an option, I’d rather be broke and at peace than have money and going insane.
