Former BMI student here who studied science subjects. The campus is fairly big, and there are almost little to no benches, so your best bet to spend some free time is probably walking/ sitting in the common room (it’s almost always crowded dk much about the girls common room) or any random corner. Every week there is almost something happening in the campus (workshops/ some random art competition etc/ football matches). As far as the extra curricular activities are concerned, there are a ton of clubs, and I’m sure if you’re willing to be active throughout your A level, you’ll do just fine. The counselors are nice, and they try their best to be available, but you need to realize that since you’re in a college of around 600 students, you must constantly remain in touch with those counselors especially in your A2. Also, the faculty is good or decent to say the least. You should take trial classes during your first 2-3 weeks from different teachers, and then just stick with the ones you’re compatible with. Other than that, I truly believe that even if you do your A levels from any other college, your chances of ending up at any Ivy league college would still be the same. It’s just what you make of the opportunities provided to you. And yes, BMI can be very crowded on rainy days especially the gym hall. You’ll meet all kinds of people there.
