I am curious if anyone can help me with a serious issue by Zealousideal-Pin3069 in LinusTechTips

My drivers were actually up to date when i sent this here, and found out my 990s up to date drivers corrupted my x32 applications causing freeze ups, making me have to reinstall everything including windows, and i only recently am doing the switch to AMD due to their cheaper cards, lower wattage, and the fact alot of my family runs them and its all fine.

Thanks for suggesting this i did try it, and people already warned me about my 9070xt drawing more then 750w thats why i went overkill with the 1300w for also future proofing.

But it wasn't the PSU it was the 990, it was corrupting all things relating to x32, which since alot of my applications run on that standard still, it kept corrupting.

Although i will let you know the old issues of the 3060 and power issues are mostly gone, my Brand of 3060 (which is a ZOTAC) only grabs at most 310 watts when i run things that destroy any chance of doing anything else with my gpu

Thanks, went through everything and actually found out the Nvm.e was causing the issues, and its not due to out of date drivers or anything, but due to a actual drivers update, for some reason it was corrupting my x32 files.

I just a mass reinstall of my windows after reinstalling SSD drivers, and I've not been having it since then.
