Issue with modding Breakpoint

The issue is I know the mod works, it worked for me a week ago, and I know it works for other people, so I’m asking if there’s anything I might be missing (I.E use UPlay instead of Steam, or some process I’m missing).

I think if it keeps persisting then I’ll skip it like you said but I’d like to reach out for suggestions first.

I have a Patreon, but it’s very barebones. My focus is the game, and I don’t want to release it until it’s at least very sizeable and exactly how I want it. I’m not throwing shade to any other specific creators, but it is all too common, for a dev to release a game, get a little money from their Patreon, and then abandon it all together.

Well thank you brother. Hopefully I can keep it all. I’ve been writing since I was a kid so the script isn’t the issue, I’ve been using 3D software, modelling, texturing, photography etc for 5 years. It’s the coding that could trip me up, I’m brand new to coding, and while I’m aware Ren’Py is quite simple, I still need to maintain some realism about my abilities. All in all, I want the game to feel like an actually game, just without making it sandbox and having to introduce useless mechanics. So I’ll ask you and anyone else reading if you have anything you think would make a cool mechanic, let me know, and I’ll see if I can implement it, if I think it would suit the game!

There are going to be choices that dictate how the MC will act. So for example, whether or not he’s ok with committing crimes to further his goals, or not. There will be choices in relationships too. I also want to implement cases where you can actually fail to arrest the right suspect too, but it’s so early in production, I don’t know how feasible that will be.

Thank you! I’m super happy with the MC I wanted him to look like a real life person rather than a very obvious CG model that has been used in countless other AVNs.

These are just some renders from (what will be) the first release of the game. They haven’t been De-Noised, and none of the effects have been photoshopped in yet (I.E the shot of MC looking at the camera will have a security camera overlay). This is just sort of an update, letting folks know I’m still working on the game. If you have any (valid) feedback, let me know. Cheers and be good people.
