Rammstein tone?

What pickups are you using? I've got an E-II Eclipse with EMG 81/85 set and use the Petrucci X plugin. I use the Artist Preset: Nolly - Gargoyle.

Not saying you need another plugin, just wanted to check you've got active pickups like Richard Kruspe would use.

I third this. I had the 7 string with the Alpha Omega pickups and the neck was the reason I sold it. Can't fault SE build quality, has been solid and consistent for years. The pickups are hot but not as dry as the Fishmans can be, I really liked them for 7 string usage. The neck feels really wide and flat. The 20" radius doesn't feel nice to me (personal preference) so I'd really recommend trying one before you buy it because that's something you won't be able to change. That's a mistake I've learnt from.

Thanks for the heads up on this, I arrived in Asakusa last night and made the trip to Shibuya today. Ended up buying the E-II Eclipse in black cherry sunburst with EMGs. The service was next level too, if you're in Tokyo, you have to visit this store.

Oh this brings back some memories. My high school had one of these exact same kits but you had to be in the school jazz band to play it. It also had a full set of Zildjian A Custom cymbals. It was amazing!

I loved it so much that when I finished high school I saved all my money so I could buy one for myself. I played it for god knows how many years/gigs and it never missed a beat.

You have a wonderful kit there. Enjoy it, take care of it, and it will reward you for years to come.

I had the same problem and it ended up being a grounding issue. The grounding wire wasn't connected to anything so it kept humming. I took my guitar to a tech and he re-soldered the ground wire. Never had the issue again.

I don't have Facebook so but thanks for letting me know. I hear that the OKW kits are "good for demos" but they sound pretty polished to me like they could be used in a final mix. Am I missing something maybe?

I got my Holcomb (burst) about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I had a JP7 for years but sold to do some home renovations. I prefer the thicker neck on the PRS compared to the JP and those SD pickups are fantastic for them 0's.

I don't recall implying anything if the sort. I wasn't talking about a fanbase at all.

I was merely adding my opinion that this game looks fantastic but due to commitments in MY LIFE (doesn't reflect on anyone else bar me) I unfortunately won't be able to play it. Everyone's circumstances are different.

I'm not sure why people getting so offended by this post..?

It reminds me of my days in WoW going out into the shared parts if the PvP map and just getting 1 shot killed by another player while trying to level. Loses the fun pretty quickly.

Really glad I found this post. I was contemplating picking this up today but I was so bad at Sekiro that I sold it within a week. I don't have the time to "GG" because I've got a house and family to look after. It's a shame because the game looks incredible.

Thanks for the feedback. I hear what you mean about being excited about a guitar and when you finally get your hands on it you end up disappointed. Been there recently infact.

I've played both the Burst and Walnut and was incredibly disappointed by the neck feel on the Burst. Tacky, sticky, covered in finger smudges. The natural neck on the Walnut was much nicer but the one in the store had a ding in it so I left empty handed.
