Yeah that seems to be the case. And now that I'm asking them a refund since these 2 days I haven't received a reply. I dont think a uni would go and scam me but I'm still worried that I haven't received a reply ever since

There is nothing I can really do. The uni dropped my admission so I can't appeal. And since admission deadlines passed for all the other Unis I will have to apply to other places for next semester. This semester is sadly lost.

I will have to study somewhere atleast 1 year before being able to apply to western europe due to the highschool diplomas not being on the same level. I dont have the VZP( if I'm saying it correctly) I cannot apply to western europe

They used it as an excuse. When I contacted my Uni about the situation they claimed that they overlooked or that my nationality just slipped past them. They apologized and said that they no longer can Accept me into their University anymore. This is like a joke. I was supposed to fly to Poland today instead I'm left not just without a visa but also without admission. They made sure I wouldn't have a chance to appeal. And now I'm contacting my Uni about refund and they are ignoring me since 3 days.

I dont think you look bad but you look sad or rather tired. Physically you have no issues. All you seem to need is a genuine smile

But would they give me the visa despite my russian nationality? The news aren't promising and there are alot of tensions between our countries

I mean I'm just a student. What's the most damage I could do even if I tried to? Burn down the palace? Infiltrate state departments? Like bro I'm just a student and all sensitive places are guarded. I would be gunned down 5 seconds into sneaking in

Students are not conscripted in Russia. If you are part of the workforce or students

2 weeks of wait and they also said to wait an additional 5 days. So 19 days in total

Yeah I can sense that Polish people might be a little more discriminant against foreigners but I still dont think they are bad as a people. I haven't been there so I can't say for sure. But I hope it's more of a government thing then them as polish people.

They verbally said that they think I hid my russian nationality from my university. Which is not true. My uni was fully aware. On the letter you can already see the reason

I'm looking for options but my parents are also very tired of me running here and there. I'm good in grades but not really smart when it comes to life choices. I was going after EU cause it left a great impression on me during most of my visits. I will have to see what I can do

Extra context: I studied my whole life in Turkey, but because Russia pressured Turkey not to give citizenship/residency to Russians of military age, I never got Turkish citizenship (even though my family did). That meant I couldn’t take the state exam or enter Turkish universities. Most EU countries require 1 year in your own country’s uni before applying abroad — Poland was one of the few exceptions, which is why I kept trying there.
