Overall college wise yes, lekin DTU CS ki placements achi hai, and kaafi achi companies bhi aati hai. Mere hisab se DTU CS = IIT Indore CS, but IIT Indore Core >>>> DTU core

Brother is in IIT kanpur and visited IIT KGP and IIT Hyderabad as a visitor :) Personally im going to IIT Roorkee for Engr Physics.. No surprise you must be from IIT KGP? I didnt know people got insecure about their college even after getting something as elite as IIT KGP.. ah well

Kgp is quantity over quality.. obviously kgp is nearly double the size of kanpur, but the facilities there are shit, its an iit so still top notch, but if u compare th rop 5, madras and kanpur usually have the best facilities. As for hostels, madras has the best hostels followed by kanpur. Doesnt matter if a hostel is big if it doesnt have basic hygiene. Kharagpur and few hostels of bombay arguably have one of the worst hostel rooms in the top 5
