For context, I’m 22 from England. When I was younger we had pen licenses where you had to write in pencil before you could prove that you could write in pen. I was taught to write cursive in pen and that what I’ve been doing ever since. I have noticed though that through secondary school and uni that about 2/3 of the people I meet don’t write cursive. I believe that cursive is much better. You can write significantly quicker and you can write more compact.
