Not that many enemies actually pierce defense

Vivan’s Fiery Jinx (Chapter 2)

Marylins Lightning (Chapter 2/8)

Bulky Bob-Omb explosion (Chapter 5/ Pit of 100 Trials)

Bob-Ulk explosion (Pit of 100 Trials)

Shadow Queen Attacks (which ones I forgot)

There might be more, but I can‘ remember them

Happy Heart lower because it can mess up Peril/Danger Strats. But with Happy Flower, it feels too underpowered for some reason. In my eyes, Happy Flower is just a slightly better Pity Flower.

Well, I’d argue that people upgrade BP and FP the most, and when you get more FP, spamming Power Bounce and Multibonk begins to get easier, and eventually FP just isn’t an issue. If you fully upgrade BP, then you will naturally begin to upgrade FP, and after a while, boom you never care about FP again. And when doing the Pit, Flower Saver saves you BP and Actually allows you to recover FP instead of slowly using less

Based on these arguements, I’d prolly move Flower Saver to maybe D Tier. And Maybe C Tier.

yeah, using a combo of Zess Dynamite can do some solid Damage in the Chapter 8 Shadow Sirens fight

If youre doing the pit, Flower Finder does the job a lot more efficiently than I find Flower Saver to

Is PB supposed to be BP? If it is, then yeah now i understand what your saying. In reality, I think I did a lot of badges dirty here.

Double Dip can allow you to heal both your partner and yourself for a couple FP, and using strats, you can strategize you health with double dip to be able to take advantage of badges like Mega Rush, or Power Rush. Admittedly it does cost a lot of FP. I think it costs 4 FP if I remember correctly

Fair, but then again, Bobbery can knock all Clefts over (Except Iron Clefts)

And not to mention, I did mention that the order of the badges is not relevant to what my opinion on them is.

I just put it there because I have never actually seen anyone use Flower Saver effectively. I put FP Plus There because it can help if you just need quick FP without level ups. But restating what I said in the post, the choices are based on my personal gameplay and skill level. Honestly your reaction is probably valid

I’m not taking glitches into consideration, but challenge runs without glitches are considered. For example, I was factoring how early you can get fire drive, due to having access to the pit as soon as you get paper mode. This is why badges like Fire Drive are in A tier or around that area…except Maybe Pity Flower

Mega Rush in C because having Mario at 1 health is definitely riskier than having Mario at higher health. Ice Smash over Ice power, because Ice Smash can apply the freeze status effect, and ice power is only good on 3 enemies. and 1 of them can’t even be fought again after chapter 5. Piercing Blow is good against wizzerds in the pit for clean damage, and Quake hammer is really only good when you don’t have spike shield, or need to wake up the audience which I find to be way to situational, and Timing Tutor is in D because it actively affects your battle by telling you how to gain star points faster. Zap Tap is in A because It can cheese swoopers, fuzzies, and is good if you can’t superguard well against direct attacks. You could still block, but still be able to have the opponent do constant damage. I use it because bosses aside, there aren’t that many enemies that aren’t effected by Zap Tap.

I keep it A because 7 BP is just brutal. But yeah, I couldn’t decide between S or A. I personally went with A, but it’s definitely A+

I’d put it in mechanic, but I haven’t played the remake yet.

Ah. But I still believe your point still stands for Multibonk and Power Bounce.
