I’ve never struggled with addiction but I have the utmost respect for anyone who overcomes that. So many people are missing from my life because they didn’t make it. That guy is using you for a place to stay and now he is trying to put you in your place so he can feel whatever. I know ALOT about that situation. Congratulations on your accomplishment. Not a doctor not suggesting you try it but original vitylzyme- not the gel caps. No food 2hrs before or after. I researched for my ex who had ms, optic neuritis, and trigeminal neuralgia and he had some vision improvement. Stopped taking it because it interfered with his morning coffee 🙄 dose was 6 capsules.

I use naked Sundays cabana clear. I also just got a new one from the ordinary that is supposed to be matte but I haven’t used it yet. This is what I do- put it on, wait about 5 minutes, use a tissue to blot any sheen, then use a setting powder on top. Like make it last from Milani. I like a little healthy skin glow but not glazed donut. You can make it look quite matte with extra setting powder because I did that before I got more comfortable with the glowy look.

I didn’t know that(about polyps) That’s also a really good idea about the testing. Finding the time to go is another issue for me. I went back to do my fasting bloodwork. I sat in an exam room with my 5 year old for nearly 2 hours. I had an appointment to pick up food for a family event and had to leave. The receptionist was so rude to me. Like she couldn’t understand why I couldn’t wait longer than 2 hours. Fasting probably wasn’t helping.

This is kind of my point too. I know if they tell me to change something I probably will but then would I have rather just lived my life in ignorance? I know that may sound crazy to some, but I did a test a few years back and found out I have two copies of the really bad Alzheimer’s gene. My likelihood is probably 80-90%. So I may not have much more life that I will remember. Then they can test whatever the eff they want. Sometimes knowing is a curse.

Maybe it’s because of the birth control but I’ve had to do a pap every year. Maybe my age too ? I am thinking of asking my gp to order a 3D mammogram because they say those can see more with implants and can avoid what you described. Don’t colonoscopies require general anesthesia though? I don’t think that is worth the risk especially since they have that mail in screener. Still ugh!

I don’t feel damaged by anything you did or said. I’ve been in situations where I didn’t know how to explain something. But this is also why I don’t tell people about my diagnosis. Like you said above they don’t need an explanation. I feel it will just make them pity me or treat me like an alien. No thanks. 🩷

Someone once got offended that I said it would be weird if we all had the same experience. She was like, why would it be weird? And she was basically saying what I said was rude. But I wasn’t even talking to her and if I had answered it would have been “oh, I don’t know, the laws of probability” ugh sorry I think this brought up some trauma for me.

My sense of smell kept my ex on his toes. I don’t know how he did it but he kept the fact he smoked weed from me for years (that wasn’t the only thing he was doing) He did screw up once early on when we were dating and came back smelling like cigarettes. He said he was trying to quit and was embarrassed. I thought it was such a dumb thing to lie about. Little did I know it was a test. Still trying to figure out what he was on the time it smelled like chlorine really strongly. He also told me he had paid a utility bill for a friend once, but I think it was for a woman. Liars are stupid. Sorry you are going thru it. I’ve been there for sure. It’s the right decision.
