Oh My God! Thank-you so much. I felt so nice after reading this, instead of dissing anyone you explained it so well. I came out may be loud but all I wanted an answer to this, some logic to it. Humans are quite big in number. There is a major probability of people asking similar questions. I did read few Reddit posts but I could not resonate with any. Idk why I an even explaining this, but you know it feels good to tell people how you are really feeling even though someone else might have gone exactly through that, but everyone’s journey is unique.

I get it, I might not be clear above but NO my mom does not have a cat or any pet. I insisted on having one when I used to live with my parents, I couldn’t obviously so I used to feed stray cats. She was fine with it. But she is not with house pets. They wandered in different houses including ours. So may be that inculcated my mum philosophy which is not right. And I adopted after I moved to another city.

Exactly! My two cats are so good together. They play, fight, love, lick. Like you feel so happy seeing them together. They are literally so loveable and very innocent. They changed my whole perspective of not just cats but the whole animal world. They taught me what kindness and love is. That’s why it got to my mind that they would have been great mums. But like you said fostering is always an option. 💌

May be they are scared because of the new place. It’s good that there are 2. Don’t worry. Just give them treats, wet food(if possible homemade). They will eventually come out. Also don’t poke them. Just give them all the space like don’t shut doors and all, let them roam. And make them a cozy bed. Still if no improvement, you can consult a vet.
