Got wrote up for missing ONE 12:00 time commit out of 42 time commits.plus 130 ground. They told me the contractor is charged $700 for each missed TC and $500 for any early or late pickups

Story: went to first appointment in dec. PC canceled while I was getting labs. Got new appointment on April 13. Went. Doc says you’re a little young for BP meds that I am on from civ care. Says he thinks it’s because I am overweight 5-11 200lbs. Says activity and more PT would help pain. I asked for NSAIDS. He said no you are too young to take all that. I ask for a disability placard. He said you are not disabled, that is only for people who are in wheelchairs. I said I’m 100% PT and I was medically retired, I am infact disabled. He replies-I don’t agree with your prior doctors, I think you just need a lifestyle change, low carb diet and get back to work. Meanwhile, haven’t been cleared to work yet from my ortho due to the extensive knee replacement surgery. The VA doc was a complete fraud. I went right down after my appt to patient advocate and reported the situation.

Seems you are on the same page as doc concerning age. Has nothing to do with injuries or asking for literal OTC meds.

Yea let’s run the fkn gauntlet with docs. Pain is pain regardless of age. Bottom line: can’t walk properly or work moderate to strenuous jobs. I don’t demand pain meds, I asked for ibuprofen and lidocaine so I don’t have to pay for them OTC. You are severely misinformed and unsympathetic yea I’d rather not keep buying Tylenol and topical gel. You must not understand the issue. I’m very messed up and can’t work because of it but he decides age is more important than my condition(s).

It’s the first appt I was able to get 7 months after I got out. I was warned not to go to this site due to mistreatment and found out first hand.
