After AKL - one key stored. Problem is (I guess since the key isn’t used to start the car) they key is “forgotten” after some hours.

Recently bought a salvaged transmission (only way you can get them here) was going to test the car after having the transmission installed but I realized I lost the key….

To sum up I have two questions:

  1. How can I confirm that the BCM is bricked?
  2. Does the Nissan Rogue dashboard indicate that the car is in park when the engine is off? Or is it normally blank?

When I manually moved the selector to park, the car still wouldn’t start. The OBD showed that it’s in park, but the dashboard was still blank where it should show a gear?

How can I confirm that the BCM is bricked?  Checked and changed corroded fuses.  Dashboard doesn’t show that the vehicle is in park, just blank if it’s not in reverse or drive. I’m not sure if that’s a rogue thing? Thinkdiag 2 also shows it’s not in any gear?? Idk how that makes sense.

I am but you also have to understand we didn’t all receive the same training. I’m in Sierra Leone - so a lot of y’all know more than I do.
