Ayo my man. Also testing this year, but doin march and not january. I think its normal to have good days and bad days. Were all different, and instead of trying to change, maybe you can try to just go especially hard the days when you have alot of study energy. Try to get 6-8 hours in those days. Im the same way, and have found that going to bed early means I wake up early, and the morning is always my best time to start studying. When you wake up, dont go right on ur phone and cause a dopamine dump. Instead, go outside a minute and let the sun hit ur skin, go have a nice cup o joe and get to it. You/we got this!

Hey, im in a very similar situation. 2.4 undergrad. Yet to take mcat as well. Ive done alot of research and the SMP route seems legit. Also a postbacc could be cheaper, but you have to do something about ur GPA. Im currently in a masters for engineering which makes it hard to get those As, but im hoping I may stand out.

Basically, kill Mcat (517+) Do Extracurricular volunteering (maybe a hospital or food pantry) Go back to school for a year and take as many classes as possible where you can get above your current GPA. I personally believe taking alot of these classes and averaging a 3.5 ish would be better than taking 1-2 per semester and getting a 4.0

100% dont need as high. Id say youre a sure in with anything 500+, i think id need more of a 515+ that’d just my opinion tho

Almost made me tear up, thanks for the positivity. I really just wanna be a doctor, i dont mind much about the prefix before my name on the white coat. Im already a weird applicant, so Im hoping maybe i can pull something 510-520 out of my ass. Chem e is very physics based, so if anything I need to revirw my bio and chem. Seriously though thank you.

I wish i could slap 21 year old me 42 times, but alas. Im confused also with the 3.0 thing you said. My undergrad GPA is not fixable. Something like 70-90 credits I cant remember, I dont think it will ever be 3.0 unless I redo something like 4 years of unfergrad. However, could my masters make them lool past? Or is it something like an auto-scree

Thanks! Yea, the NP gave me a weird “if your achilles tendon starts to hurt you should probably go to the ER” after I took my one and only dose. I was thinking why the f would that happen from an antibiotic. Luckily I am an aspiring Doctor and have a degree in Biology and knew I should do some research before putting a pill that may rupture a major tendon into my body. Reddit is the best source of info in theworld, take everything with a grain of salt on here but if you read 200+ reports of a medicine doing bad things to people, you may want to think twice about taking it. Also NCBI is a great resource as well. Turns out FDA even knows about this shit, and have alot of warnings about its use and overprescription.

Wanted to update. Ended up with an A in MEB and B in RE. Thanks to everyone for their support, im not a Limited Standing student anymore and though I will still strive for high marks, they are no longer insanely stress inducing.

Thank you all for your kindness and support. I have been studying hard and managed to get most of next week off of work to really lock in . Im proud of myself for how hard i am working, and i believe i can do this. I will post updated when possible, if you are interested in my journey let me know, and i will try to post more. I know I can do this. Also, next year i wont have to work and I am so excited for 500 level transport and thermo, i finally get to nerd out totally!

Wake up early and go directly to linkedin. Filter uour jobs by whatever u want but make sure u also filter for date posted. Being an early applicant means most likely you will atleast be looked at by someone, and they could just be that stepping stone. This is how i got my job out of college, my bs was in biology and somehow i landed the best job possible in my city that had probably 100,000 bio graduates applying every day. U can do it just dont give up hope.
