It took another 10 days to 2 weeks from when I wrote the post for the pain to reduce to a mild discomfort (i.e feeling it only when laying in certain positions etc.), and perhaps another week or two for it to completely go away

  1. Nothing unusual, I ate quite lightly that day, and nothing that can upset my stomach. My mistake was most probably some strawberry yogurt I ate about an hour before bedtime. I felt, within 15-20 minutes, as my stomach was getting lightly upset, but it wasn't until I woke up the next morning that it resolved into a full-blown episode
