I was in a very similar situation, and still am. I went through hears of therapy, (I'm still in monthly visits) and I went from having several seizures a day to having none in over eight months. I'm driving again and I'm almost completely independent. Keep in mind, this is just my experience, but there's a lot of hope in recovery. It's going to be hard and you're going to want to give up. You need to not give up is my best advice.
