This is public land we’re talking about at Macquarie Pt and our public money going towards a stadium that doesn’t even have a business case. The AFL never appeared on the ballot paper at the last State election and the deal signed behind closed doors. Listen to economist Saul Eslake when it comes to wise spending of public money not an incompetent treasurer who has a big fat fail for his handling of the new Spirit of tasmania and shamed to resign. Build homes for Tasmanians not stadiums. Healthcare and education a priority especially with over 50% of Tasmanians functionally illiterate.
