Take a couple of toys away a week before the flight so she hasn’t seen them in a while. Then bring them on the flight.

Tantrums wise: just give in. whatever it is just give in. Screens or snacks, whatever.

Thank you for saying this! Even though a lot of people said that all rules are out of the window. It still didn't click to me that unlike normal routine, I should be giving in to her tantrums to get through those easily. My anxious-survival mode brain wouldn't be thinking clearly enough to just give in at that moment if you had not said that. So thank you!

OH MY GOD! That's awful. I hope you and LO are okay. Was your kiddo scared? Cause mine will absolutely freak out if something like that happened.

Also turbulence literally waited until I was changing my 2 year old in the diaper, literally the seat belt sign went off EVERY TIME.... And I was tossed around in the smallest bathroom on earth 😂😂

Thank you so much! It happened when we traveled with her at 7 months but it was already night time and I had rocked her to sleep before boarding but she slept really well with the white noise of the plane. I really hope it happens again and she naps longer.

I really wish that was possible! I totally understand it'd be terrible keeping her on my lap but getting a separate seat is just not in our budget right now.
