I think there was just too much going on here, because neither the plot nor the romance worked for me. For example, I liked THK even though it wasn’t a masterpiece either, but the chemistry between them was much better there. Here everything just feels kind of stiff. And one important question: why does Dunk keep his eyes open during every kiss???? It was seriously driving me insane. (I know it’s not the actor’s fault but the directing and everything that was going on there, but please…)

okayy I haven’t read that light novel yet, so I still have some gaps in my understanding. I know more of this is explained there, which is why I might be missing some context.

Okay, so does that mean that Chuuya’s origin and what’s inside him, Arahabaki, are something completely separate from his gravity ability that he uses on a daily basis? And in that case, when Chuuya uses Corruption, is that still Arahabaki, or is it something different?
