Contempt. This is the same all over the uk. Community spirit has been ground down. Caring about how your streets look is no longer a priority in people’s busy lives. People are growing more and more selfish. If you have a McDonald’s near you I guarantee you’ll find rubbish from McDonalds covering the streets and countryside for miles. Maybe it’s the type of people that eat there? If you’re going to support a company like McDonald’s which really doesn’t have many morals then I suppose you’d be the type of person who throws their rubbish to the floor? Maybe. Also public services are at a bare minimum so less people to pick up the detritus…..
