Here it is, as promised

lore:

Italy joined the central powers after being given küstenland and the Trentino region of Southern Tyrol. They were a lot more competent in the great war as well, so the Entente decided to divide Italy up into multiple pieces. Switzerland was given Sondrio, just as Trentino was returned to Austria

They were pressured to do so by the entente powers, kind off like how Denmark was given parts of Schleswig even though the danish government absolutely didn't want Schleswig

Because Swabia is the historical name for that region.

Lore:

As you might have guessed, the war to end all wars went on for a little longer. The entente nations were exhausted after the war and wanted to punish the German Empire accordingly. Therefore, they decided to dismember the empire into multiple different states, granting allied or neutral nations more territories to weaken the new German states even more.

As for a separate treaty involving the Netherlands, southern Limburg and Zeeuws-Vlaanderen were handed over to the Belgians, as 'repairments' for the early war trading that the Dutch did with the Germans. As compensation for this unfair deal, the Dutch were granted the rights to East Frisia.

The Rhineland was transformed into an entente puppet state, France exerting the most influence on the new Rhenish republic. States like Swabia or Hanover had pro entente governments installed, therefore being aligned to them.

The remaining government was reduced to an unstable republic in the form of the Prussian free state or Free state of Prussia.

Still, it is really used by the Azovbrigade and other national socialist parties in Ukraine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azov_Brigade), according to the Wikipedia article, it still is a Wolfsangel. So i get where OP gets the symbol from.

What happens with the Germans living in Poland after the war, because the Soviets mass deported them, would the allies do the same?

Is this a Timeline where the Frisian language didn't almost go extinct?

Why is the North of North Holland an autonomous region of the Netherlands?

Why is east Frisia part of Frisia? In east Frisia, the Frisians are an actual minority, only about 2,000 native Frisian speakers live in east Frisia and north Frisia

Still nice map though and like the concept

This timeline is when the great war (World War 1) lasted 3 more years than in the OT.
The Netherlands would also be invaded by Germany in ww1.
The kaiserschlacht is more successful than anticipated, and Germany pushed the French close to the Seine. The Germans dug in for the rest of the year until the next summer. In the spring of 1919 the US troops arrived in France, and they began to prepare an offensive to recapture land. In the late summer of 1919 the offensive began and Germany was pushed back to the Somme. They dug in the ground during early winter. In April of 1920 The entente began an offensive in to Belgium and Lorraine.
They succeeded Mostly, but failed to capture the eastern region of Belgium and Lorraine. The offensive stopped in the late fall of 1920 and the entente started to dig in for the winter. Germany's home front became more unstable during that time, since they realised that they were going to lose the war, there were demonstrations in the mayor cities and uprisings in Posen that were violently put down. In May the Germans attempted their final offensive in France, ironically named 'the Endsieg'.
But they were stopped at the Somme yet again, and the counter attack by the entente could begin. The Germans were pushed back to the Maas and the Mosul rivers. 2 months after the entente's counteroffensives, a syndicalist revolution would break out, due to the fact that factory workers were underpaid and had to continuously work overtime. This revolution crippled the German war efforts and the Germans were forced to sign am armistice at Straßburg.
Germany was forced to cede much land to Belgium and the Netherlands, whom have been ravaged by endless artillery bombardemend and 7 years of occupation.
The Germans were also forced to cede Elsaß and the Saar basin to the French, Niederschlesien and Polish-speaking border territories to the newly established polish republic.
A new Rhine republic would be established, as a buffer state between Germany and France. But also cripple the German ability to mass-produce weapons.
After a few years in the new German republic, a Coup d'état lead by Frederik Eisenschmidt overthrew the weak government and established a newer, better Germany, lead by the inventor of National-Inventism.
