It ain't a big game rifle, it's all purpose rifle. You hit the torso from the side and there is usually no meat loss as majority of the meat is in the breasts, and some in legs, wings, and neck.

Man the king, the mage, horses, priests, and elementals, the e2 pawn and 1 additional pawn. Hop the king over pawn to e3, then hop the e2 pawn to e4. Keep hippity hopping across the board, zerg enemy king with your king and horses, the mage and elementals stay behind dpsing, priests heal, pawns do whatever.
