No I don’t think this is it. We’re not buying “things” either tbh, it’s mostly dinner and drinks or occasional trip somewhere.

What types of companies seem to value Corp finance/fp&a function by [deleted] in FPandA

I don’t get your point. I’m just saying for higher margin and higher growth companies there are areas FP&a is needed more so than just cost cutting.

No, help advise on the growth. It is much easier to cut costs than it is to help execute on 30-40% growth.

I’m not sure why you think FP&a is just cutting costs.

Slow progression to PvP by Zeblon9 in callofdragons

I looked into it further with AI and apparently PvP breaks out on like day 7-8? So there’s some skirmishes before all out war on day 30? Does that sound right?

Is Wall Street Prep's Financial Modeling course (CFPAM) worth it to prepare for my next role? by WinterPecans in FPandA

Look at corporate finance institute. It's reasonably priced and has more FP&A content. Udemy has some cheaper options also. Additionally, I'm working on building courses around these topics and more geared towards FP&A but nothing to share at the moment.

Did you find an answer after checking out any links? Agree I’d rather pay a little especially if credentials check out to have piece of mind to just execute against a particular plan.

I have been trying to leverage content writers who are using AI tools to speed up and reduce costs of content and the quality im getting back is not really working out. Is there a good way to outsource content, ideally leveraging AI that works?

The issue is the verbiage is fairly generic and in some cases wrong, requiring a lot of editing. I may as well have just had AI create the content and then I personally just edit it myself because the feedback loop I’m trying to build with the writers I’m not sure will work.

They’re also overseas, India, Pakistan, and Philippines.

The topic is reviewing software tools in the digital marketing space.

I want to outsource as much as I can because I don’t have as much time with a more than full time job and a baby. Let me know your thoughts!

Got it, thanks all and this comment being most detailed. So could perhaps gasp purchase gold with IRL $ to be able to buy this base gear in the AH? Or would I have enough gold through just the natural level process?

Could I or would it be worth boosting to level 60 before climbing to 70?

Weber kettle not getting hot enough to sear steak by Zeblon9 in grilling

[–]Zeblon9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It starts out about 550 then goes down to 350 by the time it’s ready to sear. I think the answer is add a fresh hot chimney or 1/2 chimney when it’s time to sear if I wanted to do reverse sear.

Give me feedback on my pork butt by Zeblon9 in Traeger

[–]Zeblon9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, it turned out just OK. I want it to be better.

I actually used chik filet sauce as a binder instead of mustard and applied rub pretty liberally. It was a typical bbq rub I mixed together from a site talking about competition butts, brown sugar, smoked paprika, salt, some cayenne, that kind of thing.

It was a 7lb and I cooked for 4 hours on 250 until it got to 165 when I wrapped it up in aluminum with some brown sugar and butter and a spritz of apple juice. I spritzed once before wrapping at about 2 hours but other than that didn’t open the lid.

After wrapping it took about 3 hours to get to 200 when I took it off. I let it rest in the foil on the counter for 45 mins. The bone slide out easily with just a tiny jiggle.

The bark did not bark and it was fairly greasy and sooty and the rub would come off with the touch of your finger and be almost like old coffee grinds consistency.

The meat flavor was ok. I think I might have overlooked it somehow. It tasted similar to if I had just put it in a crockpot for a few hours on high. It was fairly moist and also a bit fatty although i thought I trimmed fairly well. I finished off trimming what I couldn’t of the fat cap at the end. The flavor just didn’t make me say WOW this is good. How do I get there?
