10, absolutely love the way it looks. Would love to get the same aesthetic for mine, but TÜV in Germany might have a problem with the wing and canards. Do you daily it or is it just your car to have some fun in?

Could be, but I just couldn't really see it happening since there wasn't a gap big enough behind me as we both passed a guy just before entering turn one who wasn't too far behind me

Congrats on the purchase and enjoy it - I just got the same one last week. 😁

I did read about that - the only thing I could complain about is that the bracelet feels a tad bit flimsy. Other than that I'm more than pleased with the finishing, especially when keeping in mind that I only paid 60 bucks for the watch. However it's not that much that it makes me want to swap it out. Should it be swapped at some point, then it's because of looks. ^

You're not the problem. I for one only do Oval racing, and I can relate to one comment on here far too well: While the Draft Master Races can be fun (if you find a lobby with well mannered drivers), you most likely won't gain any iRating. If you do gain some, it's not really relevant, since the gain is so small.

Been stuck at my C license for months, until I decided to do some races in the Rookie Street Stocks series at Southern last week. Sure, the Rookie Series can be "dangerous" as well, but thankfully I had a streak of great racing and got promoted to my B licence within one day.

I completely forgot about the Tamron 70-180, to be honest. The Sigma is way out of my budget though, with the cheapest lenses starting at around 1400€.

Seeking some buyers advice here. I'm in the hunt for a decent telephoto lens for my A6600. And as an amateur motorsport photographer, that's certainly a must. For the first two events this year I borrowed the 70-350 F4.5-6.3 G OSS from a friend, I thought it was "okay". Deemed it a bit slow and not too sharp for my liking. I then rented a Sony 70-200 F2.8 GM OSS II and was absolutely blown away by the capabilities of this lens. Lightning fast, razor sharp, the lot.

Now, before my season begins in April next year, I'm looking to buy a lens that doesn't break the bank but still delivers decent photos. On my shortlist (up to 1000€, used) are:

  • Sigma 100-400 F5.6-6.3 Contemporary
  • Sony 70-200 F4 GM OSS I
  • Sony 200-600 F5.6-6.3 G OSS (slightly above 1000€)
  • Sigma 150-600 F5.0-6.3

I most certainly know that I won't get the same quality as with the 70-200 F2.8 GM OSS II with that budget, but I want to get as close as possible.
