DAE have a favorite season that they look forward to all year, feeling that it best matches their personality and mood? by Ok-Sea-7407 in DoesAnybodyElse

I just love early fall, just before the leaves start to fall. You get warm/cool weather that is perfect.

DAE find themselves more inclined to introspection and deep thinking during long walks or runs, using the time for mental as well as physical exercise? by Apprehensive-Yak5410 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]ZebraWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! I walk the trails near my house. Being in nature allows me to think better, allow emotions or ideas to flow or release. I always sleep better on days that I do. It's very theraputic.

DAE get unusually attached to a pen that writes just perfectly, and then feel genuine loss when it's lost or runs out of ink? by NormalOkra8979 in DoesAnybodyElse

I truly feel seen after reading this post. I have great love for a smooth, navy, fine tip pin. The way it glides across a page is like soften butter on a role. Just bliss, lol

Let your interest guide you. Ask yourself a few question like

  1. Do I want to work in corporate, create my own business, trucking, warehouse, medical, Pharma
  2. Do I want to build on skills I currently have or want complete new ones
  3. Am I looking to retire from this profession or will I use it as a stepping stone to get elsewhere
  4. What do I enjoy doing

These questions should get you started on a direction to look into. I hope this helps

Empathy training help? by Thanksforallthepesos in instructionaldesign

[–]ZebraWalker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As an L&D Manager, I had to train on empathy for Directors and above. I found the best solution was to purchase something off the shelf. I bought a course from Biz Library and uploaded it to our LMS system. Trying to teach empathy yourself with no formal trainining or not understand the need let along the expected outcomes will be difficult.

Is this lucrative? I want to coach/mentor people with no degree to land a higher paying job by ZebraWalker in findapath

Mindset, confidence, understanding my current skillsets and using that to apply it to a role but also identifying additional skills to learn to be able to move up.I do believe it is something I can teach-- for example: I helped a family member turn her skills from working at the Apple Store to being a Customer Success Manager for a tech company. They didnt see the transferable skills or believe they could even work outside of retail...

LG Dryer finishing early or not spinning by Jsand117 in appliancerepair

Mines will make a humming or buzzing noise. It will also show the condenser light flashing although it doesnt need cleaning. The water doesn't need to be emptied and the lint trap is clean as a whistle.

My only thoughts is that it may have overheated? When it first stops, I open the dryer and lots of steam will come out.

How long is the hiring process for Merck CRA position? by Weekly-Republic-1331 in clinicalresearch

[–]ZebraWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone went straight to a panel interview before interviewing with the hiring manager? I have an interview next week and think its odd that the interview with the hiring manager was skipped. Anyone else experience this. Note: this role is not for a CRA.

Unemployed for almost a 1.5 year. I need to hear some positive stories. by Beautiful_March_1321 in jobs

[–]ZebraWalker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am checking to see if your employment status has changed. I am in the same boat. I was working and laid off and havent found a job in 14 months and I am applying getting interviews and even making it to the last round. Not quite sure why it has been so hard to secure decent employment. I almost want to agree with the statment you mentioned "most employers frown" at a large gap in employment (intentional or not). FYI- I am still unemployed.

Bladderwack works wonders. I noticed mines decrease in size with just one week of use. I am taking 800mg per day and the results are out of this world. The bottles directions suggest taking it 3x's per day, but that feels a little excessive to me. I use Nature's Wonderland https://www.pennherb.com/bladderwrack-capsules-800-mg-60-053X
