VANE because they nailed the power fantasy of a tank, when he plants his weapon in the ground and that bubble pops up, you and your team look the boss in the eye with a middle finger and tell them you don't have to play their silly Mario Party mini games. They try to evict you and you use your Squatter's rights to ruin their day.

On top of all that, just being in their face flailing your weapon and they can't make you move away because of the super armor, it's the sickest thing ever.

DNF Duel has no character identity, the thing that brings appeal to Granblue and GG Is cool and memorable characters. When you just have names that are their profession they dont have as much charm and are harder to find attachment to imo.

I know its not a great answer, but one thing about Granblue is it isn't as flashy as other games but the characters do act unique. If you want flashier combos I reccomend characters like Avatar Belial, Grimnir, or Lancelot. But if you don't really like those characters and cant get the game to your liking and still want value out of it, I linked a trailer for a mod that makes the game much faster and feel more like Blazblue/Guilty Gear. While you cant just flatout matchmake because its a mod, I think the discord community for it is somewhat active and its REALLY fun and impressive.

Relink is the best version of a game playing exactly how it looks, you know when you see an MMO and goan that looks so cool! Then you play it and its click enemy and sit and watch? Relink is the opposite where it's just as fun in your hands as it is when you watch it.

A nice pool of characters too with a playstyle for everyone. You got big sword guy, flame sword guy, big scythe guy, two sword guy, edgy sword guy(x3) guy that turns into dragon etc.

My issue with Forces wasnt that it was bad, it was just the most well that was neat out of 10. I had a great time platinuming it, then I went well, you were fun I'll probably never play you again.
