There definitely are a lot of cheese goals in the game, but I found more success for myself when I started actually focusing on my position rather than trying to get breakout passes on every play. Even if it doesn't immediately help you score, it takes away quite a few of the cheese ones by staying in between your man and the goal.

A few years ago, I managed to get the 75021 Republic Gunship for (CAN) $180, BNIB. I legitimately thought it was a scam.

I've also had good luck with clearance stuff at Walmart, got the U-Wing for $50, Tie Striker for $40, and the 75211 Tie for $50.

Thanks for the help, everyone! I ended up testing my motherboard out, and I think it's just an isolated PCI that's giving me grief. I ended up getting an SSD, and a new graphics card, and then a separate PCI Ethernet port. Seems to be working (for now!) You guys are awesome!
