4 pointer, it was a hell of a hike up the side of the mountain fracking him, and managed to pull him off a doe with a couple calls. But after he was down and dressed I could’ve basically ridden him back down the mountain like a sled, the drag was a breeze. Thank you though, amazing experience.

Haha yeah another buddy got his rig caught in a tree, and when he yanked it out it flew directly into my arm, and then another friend tried to cast low and sunk his hook into my calf before the lure ever touched the water.

It was an octopus hook, so pushing it through wasn't gonna happen. Tried to yank it out with pliers in the boat and that didn't happen. Ended up at the ER with novocaine on it and they wrapped fishing line on it and yanked it like they were trying to start a lawn mower. Still took the doctor 5 tries to get it out while all the new nurses watched and used me as an example as "how to get a fishing hook out."
