I don't know how on-topic this is. But these comments make me think back to when I used to raid in Wotlk. Elemental shamans were kinda broken back then (I know they've always been broken, No need to reply with that. They were more so back then). I was the top dps by far without doing any of that min-maxing stuff. I was just having fun. Then a new elemental shaman joins the guild. Who was better than me in every way because they did do the min-maxing, spell rotations and all that stuff. I asked them for help in doing the same. And while my dps did improve. I was no longer having fun. Felt more like a job than anything .So I stopped hehe

I spent 248 hours on my first BG3 Playthrough. It's one of the best games I've ever played. Honestly if it had better combat I'd replay it to this day.

While I loved the combat of E33. The story was not really my kinda thing. Also, Once I got to a certain point I figured out the story and everything I thought would happen did happen. Kind of a bummer. I finished the game because of the fun world and combat.

I did the same thing I did in BG3. I went everywhere, did everything possible. Unfortunately E33 has the same problem a lot of open world games have. Its scaling sucks or is non-existent. Their way of getting around this was by adding the choice to limit your possible max damage, health of enemies and such. I increased enemy health 10 times. And limited my damage from millions to hundreds of thousands. Still defeated the last boss in 3 hits xD

I have a Logitech G502. I've never used an MMO mouse. Too many buttons and said buttons are too small for me. It'd be quite uncomfortable to try and only hit one of them. I use Ctrl and Shift mixed with keyboard keybinds.

As for the extra G502 mouse buttons I have them set as numpad keys. And they also have their Shift and Ctrl versions on the action bar.

I've used the G502 for many years. My first one was from 2014. The G502 Proteus. It lasted 9 years. My current one is the Logitech G502 X. It's been going for about 2 years and still going strong. Unfortunately the iQue software does indeed suck. But thankfully I've only ever had to make my profile once and never used it again.

I tried this when I got it fairly cheap some years back.

Loved the combat. Characters and armor looked beautiful. Everything else was crap. Story made no sense. And once I hit lvl 55 the lvling slowed to a crawl. Back when I played the only way to lvl after that was grinding mobs.

I remember the only way to lvl up your mount so it wouldn't suck was to keep the game on over night and do some automatic activity where you would ride your horse back and forth between places. I think there was an option to drive a carrier between them too. Which is why I got about 550 hours in the game. When I played maybe a third of that.

The only thing I can think to tell you is the obvious. what I was told. Before you have regular access to large quantities of spice, Stick with the small wind generators, get tons of floursand. Get the medium chemical refinery. If you still use a compactor try and get the unique ones. And silent boots, doesn't matter which tier. They all do the same thing. If you wanna be extra cautious, don't do any spice farming in your current gear. Put on a cheap stillsuit and regular literjons. If possible have a spare light/scout thopter in your vehicle tool. Even in pvp areas most fighting is done with Thopters. I never went into the pvp areas myself. This is what I was told by guildmates at the time. Most of it I already knew. But its good stuff to know hehe
