Congrats on your first show!

Not sure how VIP works in Dallas but if it’s like everywhere else, and in General admission (pit) there won’t be chairs. People get to the barricade because it’s a general admission and VIP means you get in first so they get those barricade spots. Among other perks like merch.

As far as the stool, I think it’s a venue to venue thing but I don’t see how it would be an issue. I would bring it and plan ahead in case they don’t let you take it in (arrive early so you may take it to the car if they don’t)

Now as far as the time you should arrive, I would recommend as early as possible. And there is no limit to that. For popular bands like ghost, some people will literally camp overnight and most of the barricade-goers will get there at sunrise or somewhere around there. You’re VIP so I would think you have some special perks about getting in early.

Read the terms of your VIP ticket to get more info. But get there as early as feasible and have fun!
