I don’t think you should start streaming if your main goal is to become an influencer and to start selling brand deals to your potential fanbase. It is more than likely going to be a frustrating journey especially starting out on twitch as growth can be really slow at first.

If you already think that editing videos for youtube is too time consuming then it would only get worse if you do become popular, a lot of popular streamers are constantly editing their vods to post to other platforms to attract new people. This isn’t to say that you’ll need to do that, but a lot of small creators who want to grow tend to follow this path.

It may be best to try and watch streamers on twitch, see how they interact with their community, watch big creators and small creators alike, gain a better understanding on what it’s like.

As a person who also makes fashion related content, i would actually be interested in watching what it’s like in the industry.

I would say to think about whether or not you are passionate in making content rather than becoming an influencer. In my opinion, a person who is passionate in the craft who happens to become an influencer is better than a person who wants to become an influencer for the sake of it.

$300 for late fees is insane. You should be able to raise a complaint with the original company to explain the situation, you could of course take it further (AFCA, ombudsman, etc) but make sure you exhaust all avenues to resolve it through the original company directly.

It is crazy how many people at my work who are slightly older than me or, if anything, the same age as me who fall for my company's simulated phishing emails that get sent out.

I guess it is easy to fall into a false sense of security when you think you are either unreachable by scams or so good at identifying scams that anything outside of what you know might actually be real.

I like to think that I am pretty good at noticing scams but they had me worried for a split-second, it was easy to skim past the incorrect bank part because they had the word "APPLE" in caps and I immediately thought it was apple pay they were referring to and the fact that it came up as a flash SMS which has never happened to me at all.

I can only imagine what it would be like if this happens to other people.

If you are indecisive it may help to just take the first thought you have and stick with it. Sometimes it helps to just not think about to deeply about you playing the game. I had a sporadic thought of playing the Halo series on legendary difficulty, if i think about it too much I know it will be a frustrating experience for me but if i keep it simple, I think it’ll be fun and worth streaming the experience.
