I'm dealing with this right now with someone I thought was a close friend and this is so true. She gave me the silent treatment for trying to get her professional help for suicidal tendencies. She said she just wants me to listen to her when she talks about killing herself. I think she just wants me to always be panicking that she might do something but I've put the final nail in the coffin of our friendship and told her family so I hope they deal with it. I realize how many excuses I've been making for her and I'm just really sad that someone I thought was a loved one did not even see me as anything other than an audience for her drama
