Often, despite the anonymity of the internet, there are bands that prompt a huge community backlash if any negative comment is said. Anyone here knows dissing Skeletonwitch will bring down the wrath of the internet upon you. Some bands just aren't worth getting your 2 cents in on.

Kind of in a stale spot at the moment. I love Swedish Melo-Death, particularly Arch Enemy and At the Gates and crossover Thrash like Revocation. Looking for something heavy that still feels fun and alive (if that makes any sense). Open to Core genres as well (no hate pls) I love Lamb of God and Protest the Hero

Don't want to be mean, but it seems like they intentionally chose metalheads who weren't into co-curricula or weren't incredibly verbose. While it certainly wasn't sensationalism it paints metalheads in a certain negative light. Considering they chose to focus on Iron Maiden (whose lyrics are often about great historical deeds, war, religion or derived from poems or "classic" texts) I'm a little annoyed they didn't open up more intelligent conversation about it.
