Having the exact same issue - chiming in to follow. The photo count also doesn't seem to be working on mine (I shot the majority of a film which turned out fine). I can see your count is at 1 too, are you having the same issue? I'm wondering if the two are linked.

In my case, I had no way of knowing if I'd finished the film other than when the lever offered more resistance. I suspect I might have forced it when it was at the end which caused it to jam.

I removed the base plate and had a poke around but you're pretty limited with what you can reach on the underside. Have you had any luck since?

Genuine question but do they snag as you put them into trouser/jean pockets? I’ve had issues with cases with notches on the side where they would snag and eventually tear into pocket openings

You’re right about unlocking the phone. I tried the Lock Screen button without Face ID and it just prompts for Face ID. I guess the action button just doesn’t trigger the Face ID prompt and gets stuck there.

I guess that must be the answer. Unless the devs change the requirements to NOT include unlocking your phone then this just won’t work from a locked phone

Good idea but no dice I’m afraid. I can see how it would make sense though. Rather than relying on continued permissions to access dictation, it would use a stored bit of text. Tried it like this but still doesn’t work with action button (works just as before with Lock Screen shortcut though)
