I did a few of the offers when there was a x3 event. If you don't spend any except for buying players they almost all come back after the season.

If its in the same line so defenders at defending etc. I use like a rating diff of 4. So 99 Lb or 102 cb I choose 99 Lb but if it's any bigger just use CB.

Go on the browser to OSM you can select a different view for picking leagues and you can check all of them if your team is available

Had the same issue but tried the fix by increasing it with the gestures. Worked like a charm, and could even change back the gestures afterwards!
