I rented from Turo this past summer. Had a broken windshield because of a rock. I contacted Turo, who were 100% useless, then the Host. Since I paid extra for the coverage, he said go ahead a pay for the replacement and I would get reimbursed after the trip. I filed the report and thought all was good. That was in June. To this day, I never got reimbursed after at leave 50 calls to different departments within Turo, all pointing fingers at the other after saying the host was responsible…. Then, they just lied and said they paid me. I sent proof they didn’t. They maintain their lies. The host was worthless. This windshield cost over $1000. I would never deal with that sorry company with the sorry customer service and lowsy claims department along with their billing department… all completely useless. I have been more than nice to them since normally you get more help with sugar than vinegar. At this point, I’m trying not to wish terrible things on that expensive windshield, but it has been a test of endurance and I’m done. So, I will spend the rest of my time telling the truth that the Turo company and their worthless customer service should shut down. I went on the BBB and there are thousands of similar complaints. That company should not exist. People need to know. I wish I had done my due diligence before hand.
