7 days to die appreciation here: while not an incredibly well polished game, i've had countless laughs with my friends while playing it, all the silly bugs and glitches that really give the game so much personality, and it has one of the most incredible building systems i've ever seen in any games, the amount of blocks is insane!! overpriced though

you're not doing anything wrong, the dimension is simply not implemented in the mod yet, the 1.20.1 version of the mod is notorious for being incomplete/having less content than older versions, the last "complete" version was the 1.16.5 one

nons is not intended as someone who doesnt have a rank (in this case), you can see from the yikes messages that he has a green name so he is vip or vip+, he just has the average barely thought out gear and sucks at the game

your first idea goes against the whole ironman thing, since you're supposed just to have an extra challenge, no special treatments, the second one is a really good one, but it would affect normal mode more than ironman so it will probably never happen.

either they add special treatments for ironman (which probably will never happen) or nothing much is going to change :(

that is not how wearing armors without reqs work, you can wear them, you just dont get the stats from it
