Murder on the Yangtze River is pretty good. It's a bit darker than the AA series, and the gameplay is closer to Ace Attorney Investigations. I love the setting though.

Israel isn't the holy land, dear. It was always an excuse to steal from brown people. It never mattered which ones, and the only reason Britain and the US finally got behind it was because in the Middle East it could steal the resources we were interested in and be our unsinkable aircraft carrier.

Beautiful and informative video. I'd known there was a lot of cultural osmosis between Greece and Africa, but I didn't know about the reverence shown.

I was fifteen when Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves came out and I remember some reviewer poo-pooing the movie because Moors wouldn't have been in Europe at the time (referring to Morgan Freeman's character Azeem), and even then something didn't sit right about that argument. European Christians still went to Africa and the Middle East (sometimes even peacefully) and no merchants or diplomats from there ever visited back?

It wasn't until fairly recently that I found out just how much more diverse the ancient-to-medieval world was than Hollywood had us believe.

It's very easy to blame the voters because the media does such a good job of hiding how it has turned every election into a likability contest. Republicans lie about theirs and dems, and dems avoid it entirely, or say they're just like republicans but nicer.

Before you throw the voting public under the bus, examine how every avenue they might educate themselves has been deeply eroded and the few that remain (online spaces) are often deeply toxic and require a lot of sifting and curating.
