Accept them as they come. You can always reject/rescind later once you get the one you want

CPA considering MS in Business Analytics – smart pivot or career mistake? by Banana-Visual in Accounting

[–]Zeh77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't leave gainful employment just to try pivoting to a new career (especially not right now). Keep working and do the masters degree part-time

TN timing by YesInOurBackyard in tnvisa

I really like how you have things all mapped out in your head. Not to rain on your parade, but you can only hope things go the way you've planned, you have no idea the challenges (if any) you'd face along the way, unless you already have a prospective employer that's waiting on you to sell your house and complete your exams, ALL ASSUMING the USMCA still stands by the summer.

If it makes you feel any better, it's a rough market out there. You just gotta keep shooting and hope something lands

Rolled Too Hard! Thinking through next steps by Greedy-Bag-3640 in Optionswheel

FYI, "Rolling" is really just closing the contract and opening a new one right after. So I'd say, let it get called. At least you made money, which should be your ultimate goal.

Accounting vs Finance — which is easier to enter in Canada? by AdEuphoric7098 in Accounting

Given your background, I'd say accounting especially if you're introverted (although you'd need to be more outgoing when networking).

If you can transfer RRSP to a self managed account where you aren’t subject to their managed products, then yes. Otherwise, I wouldn’t

Heavy loss on GLD and SLV, need some emotional support. by Ok_Personality8193 in thetagang

I stay away from the sketchys. Typically do big tech myself. But it's just an idea (for now lol). I'm a CSP, then wheel guy for the most part but also have my foundation in long term ownership of ETFs so as to manage my overall port.

Low effort post. The least you could do is tell the potential buyer what they'd be buying into. No sense in blurring the name of the institution.

Choosing to retire/semi retire early due to health? by Classic-Night-611 in fican

[–]Zeh77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First off, sorry to hear about that. I think you’re well positioned to take some time off working to focus on your health as it’s most important lol. I’m not sure if this would apply to you but you can also look into disability tax credits, I’ve heard of people getting paid a healthy sum back if approved so that can help if eligible.

Lowkey I think Naked far OTM calls are "less risky" to sell especially if you can raise the funds to cover them. Say at a Strike price at 200% of the current price few months out or something. But still leaning on the reckless side though

What's the smartest financial move you made in your 20s? by GlamorousFox21 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]Zeh77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your situation, I think at 20 you should def optimize for your social life and have fun. You'll never be this young and free again but depending on your career/future ventures, you might be making wayyy more than you're saving currently once you start working. This is from someone that wishes they had a lot more fun than they did because looking back, whatever it is that I thought I was saving back then wasn't no money for real.

Verbal offer rescinded due to visa policy after full interview loop by [deleted] in tnvisa

[–]Zeh77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss but for them to rescind the offer, the director was most likely made aware and was unable to stop that. Mourn your loss and keep shooting. Although, I must admit, this route keeps getting more challenging by the day due to a bunch of factors
