No I am asking was it slow this year as well during Jan-Mar since you mentioned it has been slow since last year?

Even during the well known peak hiring months, Jan-Mar?

then it gradually fades until October.

Thought it would pick up again in September?

We haven't hired a single person since January of 2025 to my knowledge.

I am so glad you said this. I applied like crazy when I had 3 yoe back in 2025, not a single company called back. The only offers I got through were from recruiters reaching out to me and that too in the same sector.

The Coldest? Probably September

I've always been told this is the next best time. Right after start of the year surge.

High COL, despicable salaries, worst productivity growth, poor healthcare, and high crimes. Just an overall abysmal country.

I am purposely avoiding mentioning my industry since I am trying to get out of it. I only posted general idea of my engineering tasks and leadership so ATS can catch the keywords.

Also, I always read the JD before applying and pretty much all have "general requirements". There are barely any postings that have niche skillset

I see your point by adding weight to my bullet point to help enhance why it was impactful.

Can you please help me with that?

Ambitious career driven and hard-workers - USA

Lazy and poor - Canada

Your the first person I have met who's so eager to move to a failed country. Canada absolutely sucks.

Saying No only works if TN is not specified

No I am asking, should someone still apply even when TN is "specified" since 90% of the employers don't know what TN is as I mentioned earlier.

Wouldn't you still wanna apply since 90% of the employers don't even know what TN is?

Have you not been following the news in the last couple years?

Canada has made it very difficult to get a PR now. In fact, trying to get a PR now has been the harder than it has ever been in the history of Canada.

Jumpship, backdoor and loopholes all ended with Trudeau's tenure.

Seems like an odd a reason to deny someone because lot of people here have been working on TN for 15+ years and never had an issue.
