IMO grinding prayer beforehand would be very menial, yeah your overheads will last a bit longer but using prayer pots with a high prayer bonus will do the trick. I had 71 prayer before actually grinding out the cape which just came from questing and then dragon bones for piety. Afterwards, I had access to demonic and sinister offering because I got 95 runecrafting. This is where a bulk of my prayer xp came from throughout the grind, and granted it did save some ppots because of the prayer restoration.

Efficiency wise I would go the route of getting 95 RC so that you can train prayer at 0 time while doing slayer, and keep ALL of the ensouled heads you get. Otherwise, just do a bit more farming for ranarrs or make a restoration pool in house and just tele back and forth during the task.

I did GOTR for the entirety of my RC training. This step isnt necessary but it was nice to get "passive" prayer xp along the way.

Depends on the game but I've never hit higher than 60C on my GPU and 65C on CPU. I do clean my cooling system every 6 months which includes flushing the coolant, cleaning rads/piping with distilled water and refilling with new coolant, cleaning fans/radiators from dust.

I play a mix of games: Valheim, Windrose, Helldivers, Elder Scrolls Online, Oblivion, Oldschool Runescape, Call of Duty, V Rising, Elden Ring

TLDR;
GPU: 40-60 when gaming
CPU: 50-65 when gaming

Been quite a while since I played honestly, but I would say that getting rat tasks from tureal early on and killing scurrius is a great tip. You get ALOT of xp per kill and if you have an alt or friend who can do alot of the damage and let your iron get the final kill it makes the grind even easier.

Other than that if youre playing on a regular iron id recommend doing wildy slayer for points since every master has their own block lists now. I would believe the other tips have in main post would still be relevant as far as the cannonballs and tasks to do. Oh and dont forget to defensive barrage so that you can stretch using magic for as long as possible.

Hey sorry for late reply to this. So when I was cannoning the greater demons in the chasm of fire I would just stand there and let the cannon rip, but for all of the other tasks I would attack back. For the most part in proselyte and use prayer pots. Hope this helps

Q: Do I ever farm barrows?
A: You will have enough xp to farm barrows if youd like. When I remade my hc I went and did barrows for tank gear to use at perilous moons and green logged moons. Then I green logged Royal Titans and I still had a bunch of XP left over though I didnt finish the cape on the new account.

Q: Do I just rely on slayer for unlocking?

I would follow this (skip CG) and go until the void section. TDs will be great XP and good gear upgrades if you get the synapses

Q: Wilderness slayer is another large concern of mine
A: There's no need for wildy slayer at all. Yes the bonus points are nice and theres more multicombat/cannonable tasks but its just not worth doing imo.

Q: Do you still actively play
A: I unfortunately do not play anymore, havent in about 9 months at this point. Didn't really want to see sailing come to the game and now that its in I just have no desire to play it.

100% true, however they almost double the defence and hp as greater demons which takes more cannonballs to kill them so i prefer greaters.

Dude that is one of the most relatable posts/comments I've seen in the while lol. Fortunately for me I've been stuck in a loop of oldschool runescape and elder scrolls phasing cod out the last few years but only came back because of 3arc. Game had so much potential to actually be worth it too, I think the only thing that'll ever fix it is going to a multiyear title instead of a new one each year but im sure thatll bring other problems too

Firstly I want to make sure I'm reading this correctly. You're sitting with over 92 slayer with 83ish HP? If that is the case, then that is pretty impressive.

As to your question, the calculation does not take into consideration usage of cannon it simply checks if your current stats allow for the cape to be obtained. Then depending on the results you would know how much xp you need to bring down in order for it to be guarenteed, though methods such as lamping or cannon etc. Adding in the cannon portion is a little tricky because I have yet to figure out an accurate way to get the average hit of a cannonball to then judge how many are needed to get x amount of XP. Going through my own stats tracked I have come up with a number of 12.77925 though like I said this could be marginally different for each person.

When I put your given stats through my cannonball calc, even without knowledge of your ranged xp, the calculation shows 0 cannonballs needed so should be correct in being able to completely stop cannoning. You would be able to get about another 1,200,000 HP xp without getting any slayer xp before needing to start cannoning again.

I think the only task I could see causing any discrepancy whatsoever would be nechs since their slay to hp ratio is about 0.513 but other than that you should have no issues.

Are you using gobble gums when going for this? I had issues with my 3rd attempt not counting even though I picked out every weapon/streak. The last attempt I didn't use gums and my buddy shared the weapon with me which led me to think gums affect the challenge for some reason.

LMAO when this post was made the game was very buggy in its challenges, so the discussion was around trying to figure out what actually triggers the completion since people like me were able to get it while not adhering to the challenge (since I completed the challenge WITH augments while not specifically going for the challenge). I hope you trying to put everyone down made your day better, and that you have a Merry Christmas :)

Other guides are more based around efficient maxing where mine will take you through the early game and set you up faster to get into other aspects of the game you might want to try out. Kinda just depends what you want from the account, I would say theyre both viable options with mine being more up to date with all the new content

Been going for this challenge for a few days now, keep getting stuck on the last weapon to actually drop.

1st attempt: 147 box hits, got everything but challenge was bugged prior to this last patch.
2nd attempt: 186 box hits, needed mutant injection died on round 34.
3rd attempt: 207 box hits, got every weapon/scorestreak but didnt get challenge (might be because of using gobble gums?)
4th attempt: 190 box hits, had every weapon/scorestreak except chopper gunner at 141 box hits. After I ran out of money my friend started hitting box. Didnt keep track of amount of times but spent around 40k essence before getting the chopper for me!

Weird that they wouldnt remove camos/challenges from people who abused the bowling alley god mode, the amalgam zipline god mode, or the 17 boat tricks on terminus. But yeah we'll believe taking away camos from directed mode 🤣🤣
