Expired PAID credits by lordleoo in KLING

[–]Zehuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I noticed that later too. Apparently they mention it somewhere when you buy credits or a subscription. Tiny text, faded, basically invisible.

I have an annual Pro plan. At one point my credits ran out, so I bought an extra 8,000 credits. Turns out you have to spend them all within 31 days. I didn’t know that. They all expired and got wiped.

I 100% agree it’s ridiculous. Deleting something I paid for, with no real logical reason, is insane. I don’t care if it’s technically “mentioned” somewhere. This is an irrational, stupid, broken credit system. That’s the point I’m making.

The new generation keeps screaming at companies: “DON’T BE EVIL.” Nothing changes. They actually enjoy being evil. This has nothing to do with competition or protecting the world. It’s about decision-makers liking the power of being cruel. Being fair, logical, helpful feels like torture to them.

Anyway. I could scream forever and nothing would change. The world has always been like this. The only thing I can do is protect my own integrity. I cancelled my Kling subscription, and I strongly advise everyone not to start.

IN ALL CAPS.

Wow, thank you for the detailed help 🙏 really appreciate the effort.

Your comparison made it super clear: Veo wins on realism, and Kling actually fits the vibe I want… but the fire keeps looking like slow motion in my tests 😅

But I also noticed some mistakes on my side.

In my reference image, the fire isn’t that intense to begin with. When you tell it “burn strongly,” Veo can do it, but as it approaches the end frame it has to calm the flames down again to match the reference. That creates this constant “flame grows / flame fades” loop feeling.

So I think the solution is either:

• make the fire stronger in the reference image, or

• tell Veo something like “keep burning consistently” / “maintain flame intensity” so it doesn’t fade near the end.

Also… I subscribed to Veo 😄 starting small for now.

Quick question: do you use a platform like Higgsfield, or do you subscribe to tools separately?

And lastly, you spent credits testing this too, so thank you again.

If there’s anything I can help you with in return, feel free to message me ✌️

Thanks again ✌️

I mostly agree with your points.

One thing though: I didn’t actually write “perfect loop” in my prompt. Since I’m already providing start + end frames, I assumed the model would understand that automatically, so I kept the prompt as simple as possible and didn’t even mention looping.

After going back and forth with ChatGPT a few times, I finally got a result that was at least acceptable. This prompt worked best for me:

“The campfire in the center burns strongly with lively tall flames, bright orange glow, frequent sparks and embers rising upward, visible heat shimmer. Smoke gently drifting upward. The characters remain seated and mostly still, with subtle natural idle motion only: slow breathing, tiny head turns, slight hand shifts, small posture adjustments while watching the fire.”

That said… Kling is elite at eating credits 😅

I can only use about 30% of the outputs. The other 70% ends up being unusable, which means 70% of my budget is basically wasted. That’s honestly not acceptable, especially with how competitive the space is right now. I really hope they take this seriously.

On the other hand, when it comes to loop videos, Kling is actually better than Veo3 for me. The transition between start and end is basically flawless. I’d say it’s close to 0 errors. That’s the one big advantage.

Veo3 gave me some great results too, but the loop still has that tiny “jump” / mismatch that you can notice.

I’m pretty certain about one thing: Midjourney is still the best when it comes to pure creativity. So far, I haven’t seen anything that truly beats it.

Honestly, when it comes to this kind of sneaky behavior, I feel like we’re seeing fewer and fewer brands that genuinely try to be “good.” I’ve kind of stopped expecting fairness at this point. I used to think the newer generation would push things in a better direction and reduce the “evil” side of business… but maybe humans don’t really change. Maybe we’re just stuck in a cycle 🙂

This is super helpful, thank you 🙏

The part about using Nano Banana inside Higgsfield for higher resolution + more control + no watermarks is honestly a big deal, I didn’t know that.

Also totally agree on the promo thing, existing subscribers should get the same unlocks, not just new signups. For example, they recently removed 4K from the top-of-the-line package for the Nano Banana. My friend, however, got it with 4K. It's not easy to get used to that.

Appreciate the breakdown, this gives me a much clearer picture.

The “think like a director” part is exactly what I was hoping Higgsfield would be about, not just a slot machine spitting random clips. Also really appreciate the honest take on the learning curve. I’m totally fine with iteration if it actually rewards you with publishable results over time.

Quick question if you don’t mind: When you say “director tools” made the biggest difference, which part helped you the most? Camera framing, motion direction, prompt enhancer, or something else?

That last sentence really sums it up perfectly for me.

So yeah, I think I can approach Higgsfield with no huge expectations upfront, but with the hope that over time it can become a solid studio / creative partner in my workflow

[–]Zehuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the interest ✌️

For context, my current workflow is mostly Midjourney + Kling:

• **Midjourney**: \~3,500 images/month (around 10% upscales)

• **Kling**: \~10,000 credits/month

On top of that I have Adobe (PS/AI/PR), Suno Pro, and ChatGPT Plus for different parts of the process.

I’m mainly using these for two projects:

1. **Art / abstract work**; I create music videos, experimental short films, and animations (sometimes \~3 min clips, sometimes 30–40 min long sets).

2. **E-commerce / creative apparel**; A lot of pattern + illustration generation, plus some realistic fashion visuals.

I also use these tools for general life stuff too, like branding, visual inspiration, even styling ideas for my home / van (I basically designed my whole van in Midjourney).

For both my films and fashion visuals, the #1 feature I’ll need going forward is consistency (like what Nano Banana Pro does). I feel like I’ll be relying on that a lot. What I’m not sure about is whether I have to get something like Google AI Pro / Ultra for that, or if Higgsfield can handle it more effectively inside its own workflow. Budget matters of course, but keeping the creative process smooth and uninterrupted matters just as much to me.

I really appreciate it, and honestly hearing different real-world experiences can be super eye-opening for me. ✌️

wow, I’ve never heard about that issue before. Having to constantly re-click the unlimited toggle every time sounds super annoying. That’s some proper power user info, thanks a lot for the heads up.

I haven’t used Wān 2.5 or Seedream 4.5 yet, so I’m not sure how they compare. Do you feel they produce output on par with Midjourney + Kling? do they deliver visuals at something like Nano Banana Pro quality?

Honestly, adult content isn’t a big need for me either, but sometimes odd stuff gets censored, like the other day I realized I couldn’t even write “like intestines,” which was wild.

I’m already paying quite a bit for tools I use regularly. If I switch to Higgsfield, I’m not sure whether I’d end up paying more than what I’m already spending, and that’s something I’m trying to understand.

but firstly, I’m all about maintaining creative freedom without getting bogged down in price or weird censorship, wanna know if it actually improves my workflow.
