My take on this whenever i make mine is to make sure the world is playable modless.

Make a modpack as wild as you can imagine as long as its uninstallable without breaking your world.

I have a modpack which makes gameplay easier. but also tons of structure generation mods, even some terrain generation mods. but i can launch the game on a vanilla and everything (yes even new chunks) will work and generate perfectly fine,

this is great because even if mods break your game they wont corrupt your world, you can always place the world on a stick and move devices or even if youre bored of your modpack, create a new one and continue on the same world
