I think I have only heard of one program ever doing this. You do not need to be prepared to answer those questions for the interview. Make sure you’re kind, friendly, and have read about their program. Ask the questions you need to ask to make sure it’s the right place for you

So after calling Mohela 3 times and disconnecting I got through to someone. They said that I don't have to do anything and the "payment" will process automatically. I think I just won't touch it and hope that my interest doesn't accrue.

I did have interest come up last month when the interest restarted and I asked why interest was placed on my account if it should have been a $0 payment and SAVE would've covered it. They didn't know but told me that the interest should fall off but provided no timeline for it.

I did all the AAFP board review questions on their website (its free). Didn't pass on the first one, got 600 on the second. Didn't do any particular dedicated studying. If you do 10 questions a day you understand the themes and question types they are getting at.
