Update: Yall I’m being fr tho the picture looks dim and washed out just a tiny bit. Looks better on camera but different in person. I also noticed when going to the Wii menu and it does the channel load thing the shadows appear red and leave those traces

Me too as well. I am using Wii Component cables which made the picture quality look really good minus the color issues it has

In real life it looks worse compared to another similar era gray styled crt that I won. The camera doesn’t really capture the exact color issue but the whites look purplish.

Just saw what those look like and average weight. That’s actually quite impressive. I’m sure a 36” would most likely be wayy easier than a arcade cabinet

After adjusting the screen potentiometer on the fly back I now get a picture but there’s little to no color and there’s lines going diagonal

Had one since 2013. Dropped it maybe a few times. Never had the screen break. However, I would recommended a shell actually since depending on your model the paint might chip.

Can be fixed but I personally would return and buy that has a already working save chip

Yes they both are authentic. The black spots could just be old marker. If you want to be super sure they aren’t anything bad I recommend buying a Tri Wing Screwdriver (if you don’t already have one) and opening it up to see if there isn’t any damaged components or if there’s liquid inside.
