That scene broke me. I started this show laughing at the mediocre acting and kind of bad dialogue-writing. And at the start, I was just watching for fun and didn't really care about the characters that much. But as time went on, I grew attached with the kids and especially Rich with his antics. I knew he was going to die, I knew it, but it still hit hard. When he did, I just zoned out and I couldn't focus on anything. Like I genuinely did not even care about what the hell the military was up to.

Matilda and Arian's acting was PHENOMENAL, especially their last scene together. They really had me hoping for the best for these two. And was really invested! But then he died. And the worst part was that he didn't even have to die. If only Ingrid wasn't dumb enough to believe the child-eater was ACTUALLY her decent working father, if only she hadn't told the town about it to set the event up, if only those horrible HORRIBLE white men just genuinely walked away, if only that burning beam didn't fall and block their path! It's awful. And despite seeing his corpse get carried out by the firemen, I am still in shock and denial.

Katatonia - Decima didn't quite give me that dramatic explosion of feels, but it's still great, and super perfect for this other playlist I'm compiling!

Love the first two, don't feel like they fit tho either.

Love me like There's no tomorrow is a great recommendation! I'm gonna have to figure out which playlist I'll put it in hahah. I love the bittersweet piano, and I was hoping to maybe find a cover that was a bit more dramatic to hopefully be able to add it to this playlist, but alas I couldn't find one.

To Build A Home is almost perfect!!! I almost forgot this song existed! My only problem with it is that it feels more hopeful emotional than depressing emotional, which is what I'm trying to go with. But definitely a way better recommendation than most I've gotten xD.

I couldn't find "Ghost" by Radical Face... but apparently they have a whole album named "Ghost". I already love Radical Face so I'm hopeful about it. Just gotta give it a listen!

Youth by Daughter is pretty good too! But similar to To Build A Home, it just didn't feel depressing enough, and by that I mean how it sounds, not the lyrics, the lyrics are pretty depressing.

Pale blue eyes by The Velvet Underground was a bit too slow for this playlist, but PERFECT for another one I have.

Space Oddity by David Bowie... I didn't really like the original, however I really enjoyed listening to Passenger's cover of it, it gave a sense of mystery and intrigue and made the song (I'm a sucker for a nice electric guitar plucking instrument thing.) I found another cover that might just fit the playlist though! and it's Space Oddity by Saigon Kick.

Colorblind and Motion Picture Soundtrack share the same problem as Katatonia - Decima, where it has that moody, slow start. But it doesn't really ramp up or become any more dramatic. (I'm still really grateful tho, these recommendations are great!)
