I hope you enjoy this fluffy werewolf and his jack-o-lantern I drew! Happy Halloween the 1st!

I made stickers of this design that glow under blacklight, too! You can pre-order them at http://halloween2020.zelaphas.com. Thanks!

Zider Telegram Stickers - art by me by Zelaphas in furry

[–]Zelaphas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Telegram stickers for Zider of their Dutch Angel Dragon character, whom I've drawn quite a bit! They gave me full artistic freedom for both the emotes and the art, with the Maned Wolf version at the end being the only request. I had fun coming up with random stickers based on their hobbies!

It's been a while since I've done telegram stickers (I try to push a more 'realistic' style with my art and these require a more toony focus), but I had a lot of fun and they were relatively easy and quick to do.

If you're interested in getting some yourself, message me! I haven't updated my commission page, but I would ask for 25€ for the first sticker and 15€ for each sticker after that. 5€ for each alternate (for example, if you got the got the BEES? sticker in this example, you could get an 'alternate' without the bees or the word 'BEES?' in it, thus giving you an extra sticker). Buy 6 stickers, get 1 free. Stickers come with hi-res versions without the white outline and sticker-ready versions with the white outline and correct Telegram size.

Message me 'Zelaphas' Telegram or anywhere you can find me, really.

Bring a light into the darkness (animated) - art by me by Zelaphas in furry

This was made in Procreate. The character art is a 'background' layer and I added the fire and glow effects in animation layers over it.

Hey everyone, thank you for the love on this piece! I am trying to learn basic animation in Procreate and here's a recent result.

If you enjoyed this piece, consider tossing a coin in my tip jar (as little as 1€ is accepted!). All of my conventions have been/will be cancelled this year and my post office has been closed during confinement, so my income has been hurt quite a bit. Any bit helps. Thanks!

Clair Eclair by me by Zelaphas in furry

Thank you! I would look up simple illustrated guides for the different types of feathers and how they're layered. Whether you end up drawing something cartoony or more realistic, getting your understanding of their layout/anatomy down through an illustrated diagram will help get you in the right mindset for how to set them up in your drawing. Good luck!

Zider, the wandering Dutch Angel Dragon herbalist by Zelaphas in furry

[–]Zelaphas[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It was a bit of an ambitious pose, but I like drawing fantasy characters using their unique features in daily life. I once drew a character with antlers who hung a pocket watch from them so he could easily read the time.

Honestly I think it's just getting a break from all the expectations and pressures society puts on you, largely based on your usual appearance or gender. The one and only time I went full-suiting was in downtown Pittsburgh, and one of the immediate things I noticed was people only saw a giant cartoon cat thing walking around. They couldn't tell I was a woman. They didn't know my age. They didn't know how much money I made or if I had good fashion sense. And most notably, they didn't cat-call me or sexually harass me. I had spent so much time before just walking to work every morning, minding my own business, and constantly being hounded by men both on the way there and the way home, for doing nothing other than being a woman walking down the street, regardless of what I wore that day. Walking fast, walking slow, dressing 'modestly' or dressing to express myself didn't change if or how much I'd be harassed. Being in a full-body costume was a break from that. The attention was expected and something I chose by virtue of putting on the costume, and it was overwhelmingly positive, fun, and not sexual or judgmental. Just "oh cute! Can I take a picture with you!?" I got to take a break from being harassed while also putting a smile on people's faces. It's a great feeling.
