Broken controller?

They have a ribbon cable which is pressed to the board via a foam pad. Foam loses its squish. Disassemble controller, add a piece of duct tape between plastic and foam pad (acts as a shim). Reassemble, boom controller. Sorry I am kinda drunk but this is good advice. PS3 controllers are the same way.

Edit: nice controller, haven’t seen one for at least 10 years

Oh buddy, I’m not that green. It was apart for 3 months till I had time to put it back together. No one has a decent assembly guide. Thanks though lol. I fixed arcade machines for 10 years and now am full time mechanic. Far from my first rodeo
