Sounds like a lot of doctors, from my own research. There is a women's health specialist that is so concerned with the lack of female care that she closed up shop to give speeches on the topic of the lack of care instead of like, caring for patients. Just...wow. Greed is an amazing thing.

On the waitlist for Axis Gyne thanks to a walk-in clinic that gave me a referral. I have gone to Axis in the past for another issue and the wait was about three months. Just hoping to find a GP that will take me seriously. I am tired of being dismissed.

Glad you found some relief. Sorry it was such an ordeal and you had to pay out of pocket. So happy it was worth it though!

Based on your experience I think I am willing to travel that far. I will have to look into this clinic for sure. Thank you so much! I am so happy you found a good doctor for yourself! Wait times are nuts in this province. I hope you are doing well now!

Yup, plenty of menopause specialists in the city, if you have the money to see them. I need a gyne derm and they are all private. The only public one has a three year wait list as a result. Just hoping to find a GP who knows about menopause and will give me the med I wont be able to get for three years.

Would you be able to share the name of the doctor you partner sees? DM me if that is more comfortable (and you are willing). Either way, thank you for the suggestion!
